Hydrocal (Dry)

Through years of formulation and reformulation, Karl Miller developed Albany Slip Substitute which is intended to reproduce the physical and performance characteristics of the famed Albany (NY) Slip once mined only two hours from Miller's ceramic lab.

Albany Slip Clay was used extensively to create stoneware, eathenware and salt glazed pottery from the early 1800s until the mine was closed in 1986. Brown in colour.
